Now when I was showing some pictures of my DS2 to some women I knew and they made some "he's hot/sexy" comments it kind of freaked me out... I mean, that's my baby they were talking about! And they were waaay to old for him, to be making those kind of comments - eewww, lol.

Got yourself some Cougar friends eh?
As for comments, in the past I took them as complements and maybe even blush a bit. If in a setting such as a sports game with lots and lots of "tailgating" ... I'll say thanks, then my wife and I will start to make our way in a different direction.

I guess so , it was really rather disconcerting, lol. Although they aren't "cougar" to the point that I think they would actually date someone that much younger than they, but still...

Do you take it in stride and thank the person or do your feathers ruffle?

It would depend on whether it was innocent appreciation or lewdness. You probably discern the difference.

To appreciation, I'd laugh or let it pass; if it was lewd, I'd probably scowl at the person and change the subject and keep them at arm's distance afterwards.

Scripture talks about people who have adultery in their eyes, and about people neighing after their neighbor's wives like lusty stallions; so, yeah, there are people around with trampled hedges in their lives that open to sexual sin.

Exactly it depends on how it is said.

Other than that I would say something like "Thank you. I like him and he likes me too."

I'm bad... I lean close to them and whisper...."We're sleeping together!"

Another good answer.
