So. . . I saw previews last night for the next Bachelor! It starts January 4. I might have tried resisting the temptation to watch, but Jake is the bachelor. *swoons* [;)] How can I not watch that? Anyone else gonna get sucked in with me?

I will be watching it for sure. I like Jake and I know some people made fun of the crying thing but the guy is sentimental [:D]

Good! I'm glad I won't be alone! [:)] There's nothing not to like about Jake. He's drop-dead gorgeous, he's nice, and he's not afraid to go after what he wants! I'd love to hear that he's a Christian though. I'm kinda doubting that he is because I think it be next to impossible for a Christian to be The Bachelor and give the network everything it wants. [&:]

No. I quit about five bachelors ago. I just have no desire to get sucked in again.

Good for you. I've missed a couple seasons here and there, but lately have watched it regularly. I do wish they'd change the format though, to somehow make it more likely that the relationships will be successful. The success rate long term is downright atrocious.

The Bachelor format is only successful for the network.

The Bachelorette only worked once.

Towards the end I usually peek. But it is sad how unsuccessful these couples are.

I will be watching. I was glad they picked Jake as he was one of the nicest guys to ever be on the show. Now that Molly and Jason are getting married it appears that could have been a "success" for the network to count but because of the way it happened it will probably not be considered one.

Unfortunately I think they always do end up dissappointg the viewers . Jason was the most beloved of all time I would say and look what happened with him. He went from loved to hated in no time. I don't think that is the norm though.

Do you mean Monday? Or is Regis and Kelly on on Sunday mornings?

No problem. . . I've been confused myself since Thursday! It felt like there were two Saturdays this week which was awesome! [:)]

I think I'll set my DVR for Regis and Kelly.

Some of the remaining girls are just nuts. There are a few that I like. I'm confuse with one of the girls though. It showed her occupation is a 'homemaker'...can you be a single girl and be a homemaker? I might be wrong in this, I've just never seen it attached to a single female. Also, I read that one of the girls ended up having a relationship with one of the show's staff and I think they showed a little bit of it when Cris was explaining to Jake what was found out and he burned a rose.

I missed that..that does seem odd....but maybe she is on SSI and doesn't want to say? Or she is a single mom? There is, I think 2 on the show.

I like the girl who is a model and has light brown hair the best. I agreed with Jillian and what's his name about the girl who should go home. She's too whiny.

I never understand why the ones who go home get so devastated..um you only had a 1 in 25 chance..not high odds.

I can't believe I've gotten suckered in again..I wasn't going to..[&:]

Ha, though, since I'm on the west coast, I can just read what the east coasters in here write and not mess w/watching the show myself.

Ok that Michelle, the last one he picked and the one that Ed & Jillian told him NOT to pick- she is creepy- stalker type creepy!!!!

Kinda disappointed with the quality of the girls Jake has to pick from. I REALLY liked Elizabeth (the nanny)though. The top runners right now seem to be Ali and Tenley. When Jake said his top three priorities in life were "God, family, and friends. . .in that order" I about melted. [sm=blush.gif]

She's still there. I was analyzing the previews for the rest of the season and saw her in a few of the shots, so hopefully she'll be around a little while. She seems like the real deal. I hope Jake can see that.
